A phonics sequence in the order children actually need.

Four blocks: single sounds, consonant digraphs, vowel digraphs, consonant blends. Each block opens with a sound wall, runs through targeted practice pages, and closes with a decodable text the children can take home.

The structure mirrors a typical Foundation Phase term. A teacher can run the entire pack across one term as a class, or pull individual blocks for small-group remediation. The materials work both ways because they were drawn for a small caseload first and a class second — most printable phonics packs are drawn the other way around.

Pages are designed for A4 print at 100% scale. Black-and-white printing is fine; colour is welcome but not required. Whitespace was a design priority — these are not crowded worksheets.

SATPIN-first introduction, sound-wall reference page, blending strips and a short decodable to close the block.

Block 02

Consonant digraphs

sh, ch, th, ng, qu — each on its own spread with a teacher-led wall and a child-led blending board.

Block 03

Vowel digraphs

ai, ee, oa, igh, oo and the long-vowel patterns that decoding stalls on without the right sequence.

Block 04

Consonant blends

Initial and final blends, with consolidation strips for the children who need extra practice before the next block.
